Here in Hungary, we build our blends with intention. We want an easy-drinking, smooth white wine that might want a snack, or it might want to just chill in the glass. Something to sip along the afternoon, and if you’re lucky, share with a friend.
 

DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK.

Hungarian wine has been here for years, you just may not have heard of it. Medieval Europe fell head over heels with the decadent, often spicy white wines of Hungary. Nobility regularly requested these rich white wines, while alchemists tried and tried to figure out how to literally extract “gold” they believed was contained inside. Years of political strife and war set winemakers way back, and it wasn’t until the 2000’s that they started finally being able to put impressive wines like String Lights out again.
 

HERE’S HOW TO PAIR IT WITH FOOD.

Pro-tip: light wine wine loves light food. If you’re the kind of person who could eat charcuterie for dinner, this is your opportunity. But we also love String Lights with margarita flatbread, couscous salad, or seared tuna.
